The International Festival Chorus is very excited to start rehearsals for our Venice Concert Tour!  The details of our choir tour are shaping up, thus this important update to the IFC Italy pages. 

 

The IFC Venice Concert Tour is now entering our rehearsal phase commencing 5 February with 42 choral participants confirmed. Of our 42 choral participants, 30 are in Singapore and will form our core cohort since they are able to rehearse together here in Singapore. 14 choral participants are overseas or are IFC alumni and will join us for rehearsals in Venice.

Registration for the trip is now closed. However, as expected, there have been some withdrawals in each voice part. Should last minute choristers wish to join, they will be considered by the IFC conductor on a case-by-case basis and as long as prospective choristers meet the criteria of being able to read music and have experience singing in a choral ensemble. We have had a few withdrawals and could still use tenors and basses. Interested persons should email Tom Anderson, IFC Music Director to request to join the concert tour. Since our rehearsals commence early February, last-minute additions can only be considered in February.
